Meet Our 2023 Summer Interns
We would like to introduce you to our 2023 summer interns. Michael and Kara will be joining us in May and will be assisting in the seed shed and scouting in customer fields throughout the summer.
We would like to introduce you to our 2023 summer interns. Michael and Kara will be joining us in May and will be assisting in the seed shed and scouting in customer fields throughout the summer.
Michael graduated from Nashua-Plainfield High School in 2020. He grew up in the country three miles west of Nashua on a 500-acre farm with a 1500 head hog operation. Michael raised his own cattle and hogs through 4-H and FFA and helped on the farm when needed. This will be his third summer working for CropWise Consulting, LLC. He will be a senior this fall at the University of Northern Iowa where he is majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Literacy. After college, he hopes to get a teaching position in a school district in or near Nashua.
Kara graduated from Nashua-Plainfield High School in 2022. She grew up in Nashua and was very involved in FFA throughout her high school career. She participated in district and state contests, served on the officer team, and helped out in many activities outside the classroom. She will be a sophomore in the fall at Iowa State University with a major in Agricultural Business with a Marketing option. After college, she plans to have a farm of her own somewhere in Iowa.
We will begin interviews for 2024 intern positions in October 2023 and will continue interviewing until positions are filled.
